An internal tool that turns a month of spreadsheet reconciliation into a fifteen-minute review.
The problem
A finance team spent the first week of every month matching bank exports against invoices by hand.
Approach
- Sat with the team for two closes to learn where the time actually went.
- Built an importer that normalises every bank format into one schema.
- Surfaced only the mismatches, each with a suggested fix.
Outcome
Month-end close went from days to an afternoon, and the team now spends its time on the exceptions that matter.
